During quarantine, like most, Kaneisha found herself purchasing more candles than her norm. However, due to sensitivities, she was unable to burn her candles for extended periods of time. This prompted her to do some research on what was causing this sensitivity to candles. She discovered the candle companies she loved, used paraffin wax and chemicals to achieve a strong hot throw (the smell when burning your candle). Being the DIY queen, Kaneisha began making her own Soy wax candles. After numerous tries and fails, AfterGlo was officially born.

AfterGlo was named after Kaneisha's late aunt Gloria, who went by Glo. Afterglow by definition means "A glow remaining where a light has disappeared. A pleasant effect or feeling that lingers after something is done, experienced, or achieved." Although Kaneisha's aunt Gloria is no longer with us, her witty personality and genuine spirit is the glow remaining after her physical body has disappeared.

Each candle is 100 percent soy wax. No additives are used in the process of making these candles, allowing a clean and safe burn. Also allowing your candle fragrance to be the afterglow in your home.
